Opening night

A few photos from the opening night.

I was celebrating 10 years in business and the move into the new space all at once. It felt like a lot to take in, if I’m honest.

I’m always a bit nervous before these things. You spend days getting everything ready, stepping back, adjusting, second guessing… and then you open the door and wonder if anyone will actually come in.

And you never let me down.

Seeing the space full, people chatting, looking at the work, taking their time with it – it honestly meant so much. It’s one thing painting on your own, it’s another seeing the work out in the world, connecting with people.

Thank you to everyone who came, for the support, the kind words, and just for being there. It made the whole move and everything leading up to it feel worth it.

I’m really looking forward to what comes next in this space.
