I am a Polish born artist based in Ireland. After trying a range of media I kept coming back to watercolor which I love for its fluidity and unpredictable results. My watercolor paintings can be described as bold and fresh. You can find my paintings in private collections around the world and I have won multiple awards including first prize in Artfest, a competition that was held in Gorey in 2013 and silver award in Art in The Open in 2015.
My paintings capture the beauty around me, whether it be a peaceful landscape, flowers picked from my little garden or a portrait of an interesting person. What attracts me personally to a painting is light and the interplay of colors and shapes. So in my own work by concentrating on composition I designs a focal point and a path for the eye to wander around the painting.

This year's holiday seems like a distant memory now that I'm back to work but it was only a few weeks back. Like most years we went to Italy, camping outside Venice, but this year we went all out and managed as well to have a short break ahead in Bologna and Florence...
AITO 2018 Art in The Open is definitely one of the highlights of my art year. I seriously love this festival, and always look forward to when it starts. It's great for so many reasons but for me one of the best parts is the people. Old faces and new ones alike, it's...
A week of joy! It's about two weeks now since Dublin Plein Air Painting Festival ended but this is the first real chance I've had to sit down and gather my thoughts. It would be so easy just to say it was a fun week and well done to all involved but that'd be like...
