Every year I’m asked about smaller, more personal pieces that are easy to gift – something meaningful, framed, and not too large.
To make things simple this Christmas, I’ve set aside five spots for mini commissions.
These are small paintings created directly from your photo, finished in frames I already have ready to go. They’re designed to be straightforward, personal, and ready to wrap.
I paint these in my own loose, expressive style. I don’t copy other artists’ work or reproduce photos in exact detail – if you like how I paint and trust my approach, I’ll always give the piece my full attention and do my very best.
You can choose from two formats:

Each painting is €350, including the frame.

What can you paint?
I can create a seascape, landscape, house portrait or pet portrait – all painted from your photo in my loose, expressive style.
What sizes can I choose from?
Two options:

How much do they cost?
Each mini commission is €350, including the frame.
What kind of photo should I send?
Clear photos with good light and simple shapes work best. Whether it’s a favourite beach, a home that means something to you, or a pet, send what you have and I’ll let you know if it works.
Will the painting look exactly like the photo?
No – these are created in my own loose, expressive style. I don’t paint detailed photographic copies or mimic other artists. If you enjoy how I normally paint, you’ll be happy with the result.
Can you combine elements from different photos?
For mini commissions, I keep things simple and work from a single image.
How long will it take?
I’ll give you a clear timeline once your booking is confirmed. All five pieces will be completed and framed in good time for Christmas.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Full payment is required before I begin the painting. Once your booking is confirmed, I’ll send the payment details and timeline.
Can I choose the frame?
Frames are set in advance for these minis so I can keep the process simple and the price lower.
Is it suitable for gifting?
Yes. Just let me know in the message box if it’s a gift, and I’ll make sure it’s ready to wrap. Shipping can be arranged if needed.
